Terms of Service

Last updated 4 October 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and Devscot (“we”) for using Tasko on iPhone, Android and the web. By creating an account you agree to them.

Your account

You sign in with your email. Keep access to that email secure — anyone who can read it can sign in. You’re responsible for activity on your account. If you create a team, you’re its owner and decide who joins and what role they have.

Your content

You own what you and your team put into Tasko. You give us permission to store, process and display it only to run Tasko for you — including sending it to our AI provider when you use cloud features. You’re responsible for having the right to share what you put in.

Acceptable use

AI features

The assistant helps turn what you say into tasks and answers questions about your work. It can make mistakes: always check tasks before you create them and don’t rely on it for decisions with serious consequences. Daily usage limits may apply.

Pricing

Tasko is free during early access. If we introduce paid plans, we’ll tell you in advance and you can choose whether to continue. In-app purchases on iOS and Android follow the App Store and Google Play terms.

Availability and changes

We work hard to keep Tasko running but can’t promise it will always be available or error-free. We may change or improve features; if we remove something important we’ll give notice when we reasonably can.

Ending your use

You can stop using Tasko and delete your account any time. We may suspend accounts that break these terms. Sections that should survive (like ownership and limits of liability) continue after termination.

Disclaimers and liability

Tasko is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (or USD 50 if you haven’t paid). Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law that can’t be limited.

Apple-specific terms

If you downloaded Tasko from the App Store, these terms are between you and Devscot, not Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide support or maintenance and isn’t responsible for claims about the app. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms.
